When true:

 

•In a Web Service Task, do[ScreenName]Result handler, if this field is non-blank, the Result handler will return the Error task status and copy the contents of this field into the Message return value
 

•In a generated web page, if the field is not blank, a sticky-note popup will appear on next web page display containing the contents (as an error message).
 
When the protocol is TN5250, if a message ends with +, the cursor will be moved to the field location and the PageDown key will be sent until the + sign is no longer displayed (up to 10 tries) .
