When set to true, any attributes or null characters that appear within recognition values will be treated as blanks.

 

Note that many times an attribute or null character isn't necessarily visible when defining recognition entries, so by setting this value to true you reduce the chance of recognition not working.

 

There is a slight performance penalty when setting this to true, which should only enter into your decision to use it when a large number (hundreds) of screens are defined.
