For Internet Explorer Users Only (typically IE6)

 

The first time you load the SCTerm.HTML page, you may see the following installation option, if the ActiveX keyboard option has been configured for your server.  This is for a small keyboard interface installed to enable compatibility with terminal emulation keys such as the Function Keys:

 

 

To Install the ActiveX Terminal Emulation Keyboard Compatibility, Click on Install ActiveX Keyboard Control

 

If you click Close, the "Standard" Keyboard option will be used--you can later select the ActiveX control option using the Function Key Manager preference

 

After clicking on the Install ActiveX Keyboard Control you should see a warning, and should click on Install:

 

 

Next you should see a dialog that appears similar to this:

 

 

 

To Enable ActiveX Terminal Emulation Keyboard Compatibility, Click on Install
