The installation program creates a .NET application named FVTerm under your default Internet Information Server web folder (typically inetpub\wwwroot\fvterm), and adds an application to your IIS configuration named FVTerm. FVTerm should also be assigned to the application pool FVTerm v4.0, a .NET Framework 4.0 pool.
There is one page setup to provide Inventu FVTerm Web Terminal Emulation Terminal emulation:
http://[servername]/fvterm/scterm.html |
Standard HTML page, designed for access by all browser types and devices. |
From your test workstation, access the SCTerm.html using a URL as indicated in the above table, substituting your servername (such as localhost) for the [servername] string in the samples. Depending on the AutoStart web.config setting, you will see a connection menu or the emulation connection will start immediately.
Either if AutoStart="yes" or you click on a host connection tile, the connection will start with an information box displayed. If your host configuration does not include the "Connection" text and locations, the connection can take over 5 seconds to complete (this is significantly reduced by configuring the host connection properly, this is described in the Inventu Viewer Administration help).
At this point, your initial host screen should appear, and you can proceed to the Inventu FVTerm Web Terminal Emulation User's Guide for more information on using the emulator.
