While there is a default cursor style selectable by your administrator, you can choose your own cursor style:

Block |
The cursor is a block, which when over text will be either a dark or light background depending on the color surrounding the text on the screen. |
Blinking Block |
Same as block, on the dark or light rectangle will blink while on the screen. |
Underscore |
The cursor will be in the location of an underscore, but a bit larger, and will be light or dark to contrast with the active background. |

Crosshair |
There will be crosshair, thin lines that mark the leftmost position of the cursor, and the bottommost position. The lines extend to from top to bottom and left to right.
This is preferred by users that have frequent screen changes and like to find the cursor quickly.
The color and thickness of the crosshair lines are configurable by your administrator. |
