When using the Clipboard Mark to Copy Icon:
Your administrator can set that by default, when marking more than one row, the emulator will find all clear columns in the screen area, and on each row, separate those columns with tabs instead of the spaces originally there.
Finding columns in the clipboard copy operation will then ensure that if pasted into a spreadsheet, the rows will be split across columns/cells instead of all belonging to the first cell.
Meanwhile, there may be times when the tabs interfere with a formatted paste into a document, so this option allows you to turn this on or off depending on your typical use or immediate need.
