The Application Request Router (ARR) is a free, simple load balancer that can be used with Inventu Viewer+ effectively when no hardware or infrastructure-base load balancing solution is available.
In a 24x7 environment, it is recommended that ARR be installed on a separate VM from the Inventu Viewer+ servers, so that rolling maintenance can be achieved on the Inventu Viewer+ servers (upgrades, Windows updates and so on).
